Cinderblock began as a creative outlet for two filmmakers, Jake Ryan Hull and Nick Melita, when they began filming live, intimate, acoustic music sessions called Cinderblock Sessions in an industrial apartment in 2014.

Three years later, Cinderblock has grown into a full service film production agency. They've worked with  80+ artists/musicians as well as expanded their clientele to include corporate, commercial, and non profits.

Throughout their growth as a film production agency and media consultancy, Cinderblock has maintained their passion for supporting the arts by partnering with music venues like the historic Granada Theater and the Rustic and working directly with many local artists.
